We are thrilled to present the American premier of this emotionally powerful masterpiece by one of Europe’s most renowned dramatists. Set on the 61st birthday of the great American playwright, Eugene O’Neill, this extraordinary play depicts a fictional encounter between O’Neill, his third wife Carlotta, and his two adult sons from earlier marriages. Norén uses humor, irony and his musicality of language to brilliantly explore this surprisingly contemporary tale of complicated family relationships and enduring paternal love. It is a moving, unflinching epic from Sweden’s greatest playwright since August Strindberg, and not to be missed!
