An exhibition of painting and drawings created by individuals who began making art in midlife. Due to their various disabilities such as Aspergers, Autism and deafness these individuals were overlooked by mainstream society and did not have a voice until they picked up a paint brush.  Just as their art is distinct so are their stories. Their paths all led them to discover themselves through art at the Rockland Living Museum at Rockland Psychiatric Center.
