Art Works of Biagio (Gino) Civale

Oil paintings, Mixed Media, Etchings, Woodcuts and Serigraphs of
Yonkers resident, Biagio (Gino) Civale will be on display in the Gallery from
October 15th to November 30th, 2009.

Biagio (Gino) Civale has participated in over two hundred shows globally, of which 65 have been solo exhibitions. This selection of work, which has a true international flavor, will reflect Mr. Civale’s interest in the energy of nature, the feeling and flowing of waters and rivers, and the interconnectedness of all humanity. These pieces comprise a retrospective exhibition representing sixty years of the artist’s vision and work.

A celebratory reception, attended by Mr. Civale, will take place on
Sunday, October 25 from 1 to 3PM.

Regular Gallery hours: 10 AM to 2:30PM on Mondays and Fridays; 10 AM to 4PM on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays; during performances; and by appointment at 914-277-3461.

 

Ring in the Holidays
with It’s A Wonderful Life

Comic actor Christian Thom reinterprets Frank Capra’s holiday classic, It’s a Wonderful Life in this wildly entertaining one man show. Thom deftly portrays all the characters of the beloved film, taking his audience on a magical journey through Bedford Falls. This staged adaptation is a special holiday must see for Capra devotees of all ages.

There’s no end to Estelle’s extraordinary kitchen skills, but she’s lost the path to her heart. Enter Saul, who has just acquired a new heart but never knew how to use one. Over hors d’oeuvres and kitchen conversation, two almost strangers mix cuisine and courting.
